  • it’s nice to know that in one’s retirement, a wealth of knowledge does not join him. to shelf a life’s worth of knowledge, just when it is ripe for use, would be a true disappointment. it’s nice to know that you’re just in your prime and ready to go to work. best regards… your friend, and always a student, gordon.

  • It is not easy to see the genius beyond the problem. Thank you Doc Meek for being so in tune with youngsters who are having difficulty fitting into the “normal” way of learning in schools throughout the nation and teaching them that they “are smarter than they think they are.” Many need your genius.

  • It there an easy way to comment on your blog?

  • Yes, there is an easy way to comment on my blog. At the bottom of each blog entry, on the right-hand side is the small blue-letter word “comments,” with either a “no” in front of it, or a number showing how many comments there already are relating to that blog entry. Just click on the little blue word “comments” and voila, up opens a box for you to easily make your own comment. Blessings, Doc

If so greetings to Anita with whom I attended the old purple and gold RHS.
I also burned my right ring finger helping? to make candied apples one halloween.
    Diana

  • Hey Diana! Yes, my older sister Anita and I (plus other siblings)
all grew up on Rossland BC and attended school there and later in
Kelowna BC when our folks moved there. Where are you now?

P.S. Anita doesn’t do email or blogs, so here is here message to
    you via me:

    Hi Diana,

Good to hear from you – Yes, we recall ye olde RHS in Rossland.
Do you still live in California? And how about our old Phys Ed
teacher? Us siblings are living here in Edmonton, Alberta, area
helping to take care of our 94-year-old Mom.

I was telling Collins about Davies Transport which he remembered.
He did not know that you helped your Dad with deliveries, riding
in the back of the truck, which was allowed in those days.

    Luv, Anita

    P.S. From Collins:

Anita remembers the Halloween candied apples event, but she cannot
remember what your reference is when you say, “old roofing story.”
    Can you explain?
